Brief Description
Article 53 of the Constitution of Kenya adopted in 2010 includes the following provisions on violence against women: (1) Every child has the right—(d) to be protected from abuse, neglect, harmful cultural practices, all forms of violence, inhuman treatment and punishment, and hazardous or exploitative labour;
